#Kicks: Concepts x New Balance 999 – “S.E.A.L.” | First Look

The sneaker community received a pleasant surprise last year with the release of the Concepts x New Balance 999 “Kennedy.” One of the few common denominators on many top ten sneaker list last year, the collaboration was among other things, a sign of whats to come. Well, we didn’t have to wait long for another joint venture between the two Boston-based brands. Their latest pays homage to the U.S. Navy Seals and the footwear coloring seen in their OTB Abyss II boots.

Once again Concepts and New Balance meet on the 999 canvas to create the “S.E.A.L.” Featuring ballistic mesh and microfiber suede, the shoe blends a multitude of colors including blue tones, grey, brown and tan. The tongue features the “999″ numbering along with Morse code coupled with Concepts branding on the insole. Priced at $150 USD, the Concepts x New Balance 999 “S.E.A.L.” will be available on August 4th at Concepts
