At times you do things because you love doing them. At times you do them because you have to. DTF Radio was the want and quickly became the example of being more.

Two childhood friends , Mark (AZ) Lebron and Abner (AR) Rivera, did just what they set out to do: they turned a hobby into a love, and the love into a dream. Soon their dream became their reality, making the love of music their full time job. Taking a stroll back to memory lane, DTF was mostly known for its street art and their reputation being bigger then the rough Brooklyn streets they grew up in. Mark and Abner’s idea of becoming more was brought to life with a simple commercial of pod casting.

Having started in AR’s bedroom in the projects, their first show aired back in January of 2007. It didn’t take to long before Mark and AR realized it was a lot more work then they had anticipated. The bedroom became smaller, and time slots for the station starting filling up. Limited space meant they had to expand and were growing beyond their expectations. They soon moved into an apartment in Brooklyn’s Boho area. On-air personalities ranged from top FM Radio stations to street famers known for their street credibility and desire to be part of the DTF Radio Family. Many of those personalities knew then, what many have now realized that DTF Radio has paved the way for all new Hip-hop and R&B internet stations. By living up to their motto “The Online Radio Blueprint”, DTF Radio is one of the fastest growing independently owned internet radio station.

Now based out of the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn, New York, the station quickly became a destination for local and major recording artists, music producers, DJ’s, and executives alike. In addition to being an online radio station, DTF Radio is also a full service entertainment company and management firm. Radio Shows range from talk shows on almost every topic and Dj Mix show that entertain you with DJ’s mixing old and new school songs that cater to all age groups. As if there’s nothing more they could do, their new sister station Latin Live will soon be airing late fall of 2011.
